Delete Your Account

You can delete your Boha Reminder account (developer: Boha Software) at any time from inside the app, without contacting anyone. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account in the app

1. Sign in. The steps are the same in the mobile app and on the web (boha.pro/app/giris).
2. Open My Profile from the menu.
3. Scroll to the Delete My Account section at the bottom and tap the button.
4. Have a confirmation code sent to your email address and enter the 6-digit code to confirm; the code is valid for 15 minutes. This works the same if you sign in with Google or Apple, no password needed. Versions of the mobile app older than 2.9.1 ask for your password instead of a code; if you don't have a password, you can delete your account on the web version.
5. Your account and all of your data are deleted right away and you are signed out.

What is deleted

When the account is deleted, all of the following is permanently removed from our servers:

• Profile details: name, email address, phone number, address, national ID number, profile photo
• Vehicle, property, task and note records, with every date and history entry attached to them
• Documents and photos you uploaded
• Notification device registrations, sessions and sign-in tokens
• Google or Apple account links

What is kept

• A record of the deletion request: the email address, the IP address the request came from and the date. It is kept for 10 years, only to prove the deletion took place and to meet our legal obligations, then erased; it is used for nothing else.
• Store subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it separately from your App Store or Google Play account.

Deleting some of your data without deleting the account

Every vehicle, property, task, note, document and photo can be deleted individually inside the app. You can remove your profile photo from the My Profile page.

If you cannot access the app

If you do not remember your password, reset it with Forgot Password on the sign-in screen. If you cannot access your account at all, send an email with the subject "delete account" from your registered email address to reminder@boha.pro; after verifying your identity we delete the account within 7 days.
