What is Boha® Reminder?
Boha® Reminder is a personal planner, tracking and reminder app made by Boha® Software for everything you own in Turkey: it keeps the dates tied to your vehicles, properties and personal errands in one place. You record dates such as vehicle inspection, traffic insurance, kasko, MTV, DASK, home insurance, property tax and building dues once; it reminds you by email and push notification before each one is due, and keeps documents such as policies, receipts, invoices and warranties inside the record they belong to. It runs in any web browser and as a mobile app on the App Store and Google Play, and you can start on the free plan.
Is the free plan time-limited? Is it really free?
Yes. You can use the free plan for as long as you like, within its limits, at no cost.
Are the mobile app and the web separate? When does what I add sync?
All platforms are connected: what you do on the phone shows up on the web, and the other way round. If both are open at the same time, just refresh the page on the side where you didn't make the change. For example, if My Vehicles is open on your phone and you add a vehicle from the web on your computer, pull the page down on the phone to refresh and the same data appears there. If the app is closed, it syncs the moment you open it.
Is the app secure? Where are the servers?
As the people who build the app, we use it ourselves and keep all our own records in it, so security is our first priority. The main server is closed to outside access and serves through proxy servers behind a firewall. Our data center is in Turkey.
Can I export the data for my property or vehicle?
Of course, any time. Open the detail page of the property or vehicle and use the PDF button at the top right; it downloads everything on that record as a PDF.
Who can see my documents, details and content?
In short: nobody. By law we can only access your contact details, such as your name and phone number; all other content is encrypted in the database. Nobody but you can see what you write and save.
Does switching plans take effect right away? When can I cancel?
Everything is automatic: the plan you buy is active right away. Subscriptions renew yearly through Google Play or the App Store, and you can cancel any time from there. When you cancel, your plan continues until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan with your records intact. Only Free accounts that go unused for 90 days are deactivated and, after warning emails, permanently deleted on day 120; paid accounts are never deleted.
Is my credit card stored?
No. Your credit card is none of our business, which is why we left payments to the two biggest companies in the world: Google Pay / Apple Pay. They only return a "payment received / not received" signal; that's all we know.
I live outside Turkey, or I'm not a Turkish citizen. Can I still use it?
Yes. Boha® Reminder works wherever you are: reminders arrive by email and push notification, the web app runs in any browser, and the mobile app is on the App Store and Google Play in every country. The app is available in English and Turkish, and subscriptions are billed in your store's local currency.
